In 1990, ICOC and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) established the Turkish Sub-contracting Exchange (TSX) as a resource for business matchmaking between main contractor and subcontractor companies within Turkey and abroad.

TSX enables businesses that are looking to break into new markets both inside the country and abroad to tap Turkish small and medium enterprises in a variety of specialties. The organization also provides assistance with every stage of business?from production to marketing.

Quick facts:

• Since its creation, TSX has facilitated more than 22 million Euro in contracts for its members.
• Annually, TSX matches 3,500 contractors and subcontractors, with more than half of its members receiving matchmaking inquiries.
• Seventy five percent of these requests come from abroad and 80 percent accuracy in matchmaking is provided.
• Seven percent of these matchmakings result in contracts.
• Average contract amount is 185,000 Euro (min 30,000 and max 600,000 Euro).
